Here is a kickstarter project that will eventually develop some ipad applications that may help kids with dyscalculia. In their own words:

Numbers are just a mathematical notation. We can learn how to count just by using our fingers. And calculations could be very easy without numbers!

Math Adventure is based on the “Analogical Method” theory, originally developed by an Italian primary school teacher. His books are very popular and many Italian schools are now also adopting his teaching methods, as they have been found to be very useful with kids with dyscalculia problems.
