The New York Times had a blog post that made the point

“More drilling,” teaching your daughter that “all learning isn’t – and shouldn’t be – fun,” and that, as a girl, there are certain things she should simply suffer through “even if she finds it painful,”

This is so wrong that it is hard to believe the NYT prints it. Luckily current Standford graduate student, Emma Gargroetzi wrote an excellent rebuttal. See it in our link below:
