The website Teachers pay teachers offers a free short description of what dyscalculia is. They have taken some symptoms of other sites and the information does not go very deep but it is a good start, see it HERE (registration required)
Another site offering general information about Dyscalculia, and they base their knowledge on Brian Butterworth’s work, is assitivemart.com. This piece is interesting for their comment under the section “Why is solving Dyscalculia so important” you’ll be shocked to read the answer:
