Some companies have really gone out of their way to accommodate hiring people with learning disabilities. They don’t do this as a gesture to help people with a learning disability but they have come to realize that there is an untapped resource of about 10% of the population who could contribute in unique ways to their companies.
The next step has also been taken by some, which is to adjust the introduction processes to ensure people will fit in the corporate setting more easily.
