Make content accessible

Dyscalculia: News from the web:

From Australia comes a guide with free advice on how to make content available on the web in such a way that people with cognitive disabilities, including dyscalculia, will have no problem accessing it.

You need to register with the provider and confirm your email address but then you get the very useful guide that will allow you to follow the items one by one and make sure your site complies to help your content being accessible to those who may need it most.

A lesson in rounding

Dyscalculia: News from the web:

Don’t be put off by the first image and audio, this is a pretty fun video about rounding. It was quite a herculean task to put it together apparently, here is what the description tells us:

[+] It took 16 hours to create the slides and write the script (written by Ashley Gaynor – aka Ash The Great).
[+] The audio both of us over 8 hours (Narrated by Jodie – aka Jodie The Regular).
[+] It took a further 13 hours of video editing.
[+] Uploading onto social media and our website took 3 hours.

Enjoy!
