It appears from new research at the university of Dallas that communication between the left and right part of the brain seems key for executing math tasks. The researchers found brain activity as expected when scanning the brain with MRI during math exercises but a new observation was that both brain parts interacted a lot more during the work.

This may open up some new leads for training the brain and remediation.
