The question is if avoiding the math requirement is the right path forward or the only option. If you have been assessed with dyscalculia and you have not done any remediation yet, you may be better served by trying to work through the problems to bring your dyscalculia to a level where you are still able to lead a happy life and deal with numbers and pass your math requirement. It may not be the fastest way, but in the long run will bring you more benefits.

You won’t be able to avoid making the best choice for your mortgage plan, you won’t be able to avoid making some pension calculations, and there are a ton more things throughout your life where you’ll need some math.
